OUR HEALTH GUARANTEE

All Schnauzer puppies purchased come with a health guarantee. Within 10 days of purchasing your new Schnauzer puppy, you must take him/her to a licensed veterinarian for an examination. If the veterinarian determines, within 10 days of purchase, that your dog is clinically ill or has died from an injury sustained or illness likely to have been contracted on or before the date of sale and delivery, you can contact us.

Our Schnauzer puppies are 100% guaranteed to be in good health and free of any signs of infection and any contagious or communicable diseases at the time of adoption. We take pride in the fact that our relationship with you does not end when you take home a Schnauzer puppy from us. As a family of breeders, experienced Schnauzer puppy counselors, and die-hard Schnauzer puppy lovers, we’d like to believe nothing can ever go wrong with our Schnauzer puppies. However, certain things are never in our control. A Schnauzer puppy’s health is dependent on a lot of factors like genetics, exercise, food & nourishment, and overall care. While we may not be able to guarantee that your Schnauzer puppy will never have a health problem, we guarantee to do our best to ensure your new family member is a healthy one!

We do not believe your Schnauzer puppy is replaceable but do believe that sometimes the pain can be lessened in the company of another furry friend. In the unlikely event of the death of your Schnauzer puppy within one year from its date of birth due to genetics, or if the Schnauzer puppy is found to have congenital or hereditary disorders (within 1 year) which adversely affect the health of your Schnauzer puppy, we will replace the Schnauzer puppy with another of equivalent value at no cost to you. The cause of death should be certified by a licensed veterinarian.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Nothing delights us more than knowing we were able to bring a healthy, happy Schnauzer puppy to your home. We do seek out your help to ensure your Schnauzer puppy remains healthy. Here are a few measures that will help: Send us a copy of the examination(medical record) within 4 business days of receiving your Schnauzer puppy. The examination must be performed by a licensed vet. Your Schnauzer puppy will come with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations, so make sure you do not vaccinate within the first ten days of receiving your Schnauzer puppy. While we de-worm & vaccinate your Schnauzer puppy till the departure date, we’d like you to continue proper de-worming & conducting regular exams up to 16 weeks of age or more (or as recommended by your vet).

EXCEPTIONS TO OUR GUARANTEE:

We cannot guarantee the disposition or temperament, conformation, size, weight, color, markings or breeding ability of your new Schnauzer puppy. No replacements will be given if the breeds that are known to be prone to hip dysplasia, are over-weight. Failure to provide your Schnauzer puppy with timely inoculations or regular veterinary care will void this guarantee. This guarantee does not cover any costs associated with spaying or neutering, including undescended testes.

We require all our Schnauzer puppies to undergo an extensive health check before they come home to you. This health check is performed by our vet, who is required to fill out our Veterinary Health Report. This report, created for us by a licensed veterinarian, is designed to examine the condition of every Schnauzer puppy for Cardiovascular, Skin, Coat, Eyes, Mouth, Teeth, Gums, Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, Ears, Urogenital, and Gastrointestinal.

We require this report to be filled in close to the date of your Schnauzer puppy coming home to you so as to safeguard that your Schnauzer puppy’s health evaluation is a recent one. This report is then reviewed internally for any issues or concerns notated by our veterinarian. We also require that you have your Schnauzer puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within four days of receiving the Schnauzer puppy
